Summer is over and Winter is around the corner, so I decided to bring my gingham off the shoulder top out for one last hoorah before hanging it back in my closet for the next 5 to 6 months (yes, our Winters last forever in Canada). The gingham trend this Summer and Spring has been a personal favourite of mine. It is a print that works for any item – trousers, tops, dresses etc. As much as I love off-the-shoulder tops, sometimes they can be uncomfortable – constantly having to adjust and pull down the shoulders.. With this blouse I didn’t have that problem because it is a straight cut across the chest and scrunches at the shoulders making it stay in place (no more wardrobe malfunctions)! I paired my off-the-shoulder top with my new pair of frayed Mavi jeans, giving the look a more edgy feel.
