For this #ootd, being that it was a tad warmer out (for Canadian’s that means slightly above -0 degrees celsius) I was so bored of wearing the same Winter coat everyday so I decided to mix textures by pairing my comfy leather pants with a faux fur jacket I picked up during Zara’s insane Boxing Week sale! I love mix and matching materials and textures such as leather, suede, fur, velvet, corduroy, lace etc. it adds more detail to an outfit and can really upgrade a look.

I want to be honest on my blog, if I do not like a product I just wont say anything, but when I do happen to come across something great, I want to share it with you all!
I have never been one to go all-out with my makeup unless I am attending an event of some sort, but I recently came across a brand sold at Sephora called Nudestix and oh my have these products changed my life for the better. I am a low key lazy person, especially in the morning. These products are literally sticks (or stix) so they are easy to bring along for touchups throughout the day.
First I experimented with their concealer pencil. It is soft, matte, and really easy to blend. What I like is how it has great coverage but also has skin conditioning and moisturizing ingredients, such as Shea Butter and Vitamin E.
Their Magnetic Luminous Eye Colour (shade: Gilt) makes me look like I put in a lot of effort into my makeup when really… I didn’t… Shhhh. It lasted me most of the day, It only began to crease towards the end of the day (ideal for oily lids). Little embarrassing how I don’t know how to properly apply eye shadow, but this is my way out – I just apply it like a pencil basically, they are soft and super gliding making them easy to blend. You can also use the magnetic stick to highlight the face’s highpoints; like cheekbones, tear ducts and brow arch but I chose to test out their hi-lite pencil in ‘champagne’. I applied it on the bridge of my nose and upper cheekbone. I found that it gave me a very natural look, which I like for my daily makeup look.
